History

Jason Demarest has been practicing architecture since 1995 and serving clients in Central NY and beyond as a licensed architect since 2001.  Past project experience covers all markets including custom residential, commercial, municipal, educational and recreational industries.  In depth knowledge of the architectural profession was gained first hand as an employee of Tallman and Tallman Architects, a legacy firm in the central NY area that was originated in 1912 by Carl C. Tallman.  His son, Robert B. Tallman, continued this architectural practice over the years and eventually resumed the sole proprietorship of Tallman and Tallman after a number of years in the partnership of Tallman and Thomas, which eventually became Thomas Associates (now owned by Tetra Tech Architects & Engineers).  As Bob Tallman continued to practice architecture in the later years of his career Jason Demarest joined the small firm.  After obtaining his license they formed the partnership of Tallman and Demarest Architects.  This lasted only a few years and was dissolved in 2006 after Bob passed away.  Having learned a great deal from Bob as both an architect and an even greater man Jason formed his own architectural practice.
